Eastwick Promises (To Save The Game And The Day!)

Rawly Eastwick got his first full season under his belt in 1975 with the Cincinnati Reds. Excellent team to start with. '75 was pretty good. But how about 1976? Eastwick helped power the Big Red Machine all the way to the World Series with 11 wins and a league-leading 26 saves. It marked the second consecutive season he'd lead the senior circuit in saves.

His efforts not only helped Cincy, they got him fifth place in the Cy Young voting that year.
