Walden's Superb Sophomore Season, Part 1

Marcus Walden didn't reach the bigs until he was 29. Last year, he appeared in just eight games for the Boston Red Sox, posting a 0-0 record, one save, and a 3.68 ERA. But in 2019, Marcus is proving he belongs in the bigs.

So far, in 64 games with the Red Sox, Walden has been one of the big winners out of the bullpen. Brandon Workman has nine wins, and Marcus Walden has matched that total, against just two losses. And although he has finished just seven games so far this season, Marcus is sure getting used. His 73 innings pitched tops all other pitchers in the Sox's bullpen
