The Missing Link Of '57 Is Zuverink

Now we're back to 1957, and in the junior circuit. George Zuverink was pitching out of the bullpen for Baltimore that year. Hoyt Wilhelm was not there yet, so the closer's job came down to Zuverink, Billy O'Dell and Ken Lehman.

But Zuverink was the best of the three.
