Rick Was No Risk For The Twins In 1991, Part 1

A short while back, I noted that Rick Aguilera was the winning pitcher in game six of both the 1986 and 1991 World Series. His teams, the Mets and Twins, went on to win game seven of both Fall Classics.

Rick also happened to be a pretty good closer for both New York and Minnesota. I think one of the reasons the Twins won it all in 1991 was because of Rick. He only won four regular season games (And one postseason game), but saved 42 others. Then, Aguilera added three more in the ALCS vs. Toronto and two more in the World Series vs. Atanta.
