Pedro Paid His Dues, Part 1

Long before he became one of the most dominating starting pitchers of his time, or of all-time, Pedro Martinez was merely a reliever with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Back in 1992, Martinez was 0-1 in 2 games at the big league level. His 1993 year was primarily from the bullpen. Pedro still made 2 starts, but he hadn't found his way into the rotation yet.

But Pedro's 1993 year was one of progress. The right-hander ended up pitching in 65 games, topping 100 IP, and winning 10 contests.
