Parrett Was The Big Winner In The Expos' Bullpen In 1988, Part 2

Alright, so Jeff Parrett didn't exactly rack up the saves in 1988 with Montreal. You know whose job that was? Well, primarily Tim Burke, 18 saves. However, Joe Hesketh saved 9 and how about our boy?

Well, Parrett had only 6 saves to his name in '88. But in addition to his 12 wins (Which tied two starters, Pascual Perez and Bryn Smith, for second on the Expos in that stat), Jeff allowed just 6.5 hits per 9. And while he may have only fanned 62 batters in 91 2/3 IP for an average of 6.1 per 9, Parrett would improve over the years.
